New Peace Corp volunteer connection!

Now that Mackenzie has finished her time in the Peace Corp, we have been match with another Peace Corp volunteer with the Coverdell Worldwise program.

Our new Peace Corp volunteer is Mark McEnery. He is living in Morocco in a town called Touama, which is in the High Atlas Mountains southeast of Marrakech. It’s a Berber community, and most families there are subsistence farmers. The people there speak a Berber dialect called TashlHeyt, although Darija (Moroccan Arabic) is also used, as it is the primary language in most of Morocco.

We are excited to get to learn about Mark’s experience in Morocco. We’ve sent a postal package to Morocco with letters and pictures.
